Creation of a new brand identity for the Pennon Group of companies, including Viridor, a recycling, renewable energy and waste management company.

Viridor required a completely new visual brand identity to reflect its evolution, and reaffirm its vision and values, both internally with employees and externally with customers. An identity that had to work successfully in a digital environment where so much brand exposure now lives and operates. All brands had to have a family connection, while still working as standalone brands in their own right.

Once the system had been established, I worked within the look and feel to create all roll-out material. I have been working with Pennon and Viridor for over 13 years and continue to have a successful working relationship with them.

  • “We needed a partner that would scrutinise our brief, review the market, understand our business challenges and feed this into an insight-driven creative. Following a competitive pitch process, we chose to work with Suffia. Throughout the extensive creative exploration of the brand evolution Suffia worked closely with us to ensure the outcome was a more relevant brand that better reflected our vision and values and delivered better impact and standout on all brand touchpoints. This nine-month project resulted in a successful new brand identity, not only for Viridor but for the whole of the Pennon Group of companies. Suffia was able to bring her knowledge of brand, the business and understanding of our culture into the mix, to create a thoughtful family of identities. Feedback from our teams and clients has been very positive, and we continue to have a good working relationship with Suffia.”
